CORE EMPLOYER SERVICES

The VWC's employer services are provided in coordination with the Virginia Employment Commission. The following services are available:

• Post job openings on ALEX (Automated Labor Exchange) web site
  
• Post job openings in office
• Receive and forward applications
• Prescreening & referral of qualified applicants
• Handle call-in letters on site in coordination with VEC
• Refer participants to job openings as appropriate in coordination with VEC
• Labor law compliance information
• Job creation tax credit information
• Assistance in starting up or moving to area
• Interview space as requested
• Information on VEC services to employers
• Job fair assistance
